Shutter Island is played by actor Leonardo Caprio who also played in films (Titanic, Gangs of New York, as well as The Departed). An actor who has long been wrestling in the Hollywood film industry. Shutter Island can be a success because in two consecutive weeks at the top of box office ladder.

Shutter Island, adapted from the novel by Dennis Lehane who also wrote Mystic River and Gone Baby, Gone. Shutter Island tells the story of two American ships to U.S. Marshall who has a mission to investigate the disappearance of a patient at the hospital of the prisoners on an island in Massachusetts. They found many obstacles as they head mengintogerasi hospital. Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) are two of the U.S. Marshal assigned to search for information about the disappearance of a woman named Rachel Solando (Emily Mortimer). Before disappearing, she had left a message that reads "Who's 67", Teddy was sure that this message has nothing to do with the loss of Rachel and Teddy was determined to explore this case.

In his search, Teddy had difficulty because the hospital refused to provide information. Teddy suspect that the hospital was involved in a case of Rachel's disappearance and did not want him to be found. Teddy was not easy giving up she struggled to get the truth about Rachel's disappearance. But that does not support the weather, a large storm in the island. But Teddy was determined to continue the investigation.
